Description
The arrival of a new hen in a henhouse often leads to acclimatization problems and hens can sometimes display aggressive behaviour, such as feather pecking. The FRANCODEX NEW ARRIVAL ANTI-STRESS SPRAY helps reduce this type of behaviour when sprayed in henhouses and on the hens, to give new arrivals the same scent as the henhouse. It also contains calming active ingredients, such as lavender essential oil, to limit stress caused changes to the hens’ living environment.
Plastic bottle made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastics.
Composition
Purified water, juniper essential oil, lavender essential oil, citronella essential oil.
Manual
The FRANCODEX NEW ARRIVAL ANTI-STRESS SPRAY is applied both to the hens and used in the henhouse so that all of the hens have the same scent. Apply 1 or 2 sprays per m² in the henhouse the day before introducing the new hen, then once daily for about 3 days.
Spray once or twice directly on the feathers of new arrivals, and on existing hens, upon arrival and over the next few days. You may also use the new arrival spray when a hen is attacked by other hens. The 500-mL spray is suitable for henhouses with an internal surface area of not more than 4m², i.e. approximately 8 to 10 hens.
